Through the online portal, claimants can view claim history, check payment status, review wage information, and submit documents required for their claims. The system provides real-time updates on claim processing status, which can be particularly useful for those awaiting decisions on their accounts. The portal also displays information about pending issues, overpayment balances, or other matters requiring attention.

Email inquiries can be submitted through the website as well, though responses may take several business days depending on the volume of inquiries and the complexity of your question. For general questions about the program, email may be an appropriate contact method if you do not need an immediate response.

The online portal also provides information sheets, fact sheets, and frequently asked questions organized by topic. These resources cover topics such as how claims are processed, what to do if you disagree with a decision, how to verify wage information, and what happens if an overpayment is found. Many common questions can be resolved by reviewing these materials without needing to speak directly with a representative.

Mobile accessibility has improved on Kentucky's unemployment website in recent years. While the site is optimized for computers, it can be accessed from smartphones and tablets, though some functions may work better on larger screens.
